I've had braces twice in my life and they've widened my arch to the best of their ability. I still desire to have the wide "Hollywood" smile. Would veneers accomplish this and how many would I approximately need? Is this the only option? Thanks!

Answer: Veneers I would encourage you to consider visiting with an orthodontist. Your upper arch appears to be very narrow and your teeth themselves appear to be nicely shaped. If you are against the idea of wearing braces you could do veneers. To widen your smile you will need a minimum of 8 veneers but ideally 10. You also need to remember that veneers are not a once in a lifetime thing. They will need to be replaced at some point. Orthodontics will be less invasive.

Answer: Mcable I would strongly suggest you consider talking to an orthodontist to see if you would benefit from braces. Your teeth seem to be quite nicely shaped but your arch seems quite constricted. I think braces would be a much better option than veneers. Find an orthodontist you trust and see what your options are. Good luck!
