I'm scheduled to have CO2 Smartxide laser resurfacing in a week. Is there any risk of fat atrophy with this procedure? I have read devices such as Thermage, and others which generate a large amount of heat, can destroy fat cells. I had fat grafting in the face several years ago and do not want to loose a gram of fat. What are the risks?
