Hello! I’m having a rhino/septoplasty on Oct 8. I have a white scar on my nose (from a laser 10+ years ago) that’s really bothering me. My skin is olive toned so it really stands out. My surgeon said he could do a scar revision on it 6 months after surgery to remove it. In the mean time, I was thinking about getting scar camouflaging/micropigmentation on it to better match my skin tone. Would this be risky to do about 1.5 months before surgery? Could it interfere with the surgery/results? Photo attached.

Hi @gaucheone! I recommend seeing a rhinoplasty specialist for an in person examination. There are several options for you that can be determined after examination. Best of luck, Dr. Nima!
