Photos would have been extremely helpful. But, in their absence, a few general comments are in order. I have personally been using Profhilo, a unique hyaluronic acid-based injectable remodeling agent, for this purpose for the past year in my Israel satellite facility, where a far greater number of regulatory agency approved injectable fillers, volumizing fillers, skin boosters and Profhilo are available. Profhilo, which has been around for several years and in use in 56 countries so far (hopefully in a few years, the U.S., as well), works in several unique ways to increase skin elasticity and tightening by maintaining the viability of the fiber making cells in the dermis (fibroblasts), the keratinocyte cells of the the epidermis, as well as the fat cells (adipocytes) of the subcutaneous layer of the skin--all of which promotes greater tissue support and elasticity. The product is delivered in bee-bite size boluses (usually about ten two twelve sites, both above and below the belly button. The post-delivery lax abdomen, in my experience, requires a minimum of two and possibly three treatment sessions, spaced at monthly intervals to achieve a gratifying improvement. Benefits of each treatment usually are recognized within a week or two following the treastment sessions. A maintenance treatment performed twice yearly may provide additional benefit . Treatments take under five minutes to perform. Should any supplemental smoothing be required, the use of a skin booster, such as Viscoderm Hydroboosters or Restylane Skin Boosters may be injected very superficially to stretch and hence smooth and tighten the overlying skin. Make sure that you consult with a board certified aesthetic physician and be cautious in evaluating the many bells and whistles, supposedly "next big thing," radiotherapy and ultrasound devices that may be offered to you, as these, up to now, are backed far more by device manufacturer supported marketing hype than any hard science. Best of luck to you.
