I had Vivace Microneedling Fri 4 days ago. It was very painful and I now have hyperpigmentation with redness and gridmarks all over my face. Is there anything I can do other than panic?

Answer: Vivace For Skin Texture and Antiaging Hi and thank you for sharing your photos and concerns. We always recommend you follow up with your provider so they are aware of your progress, and they may want to see you to assess in person. That said, we do see this type of response with more aggressive treatments and/or with more sensitive skinned patients. We often and do recommend combining it with PRP, to enhance results, as well as expedite healing time. We recommend a series of Vivace, often 4-6 depending on the severity of the condition we are trying to improve. Best, Dr. Grant Stevens

Answer: Marks after vivace Have no fear! Although Vivace advertises as a "no downtime" treatment. When done more aggressively, it can act as a resurfacing treatment and often this means some residual visible signs for longer. This is not bad or dangerous. You'll have an even more signifiant response as a matter of fact. Just make sure you are staying out of the sun and protecting your skin through this healing process.
