For any surgery, age may play a role in medical clearance but one's overall health is the most important factor. I have performed fat transfer and buttock implants on plenty of 60+ year olds that were otherwise in excellent health pre-operatively. Glad to help.
I do not operate on any one under the age of 18. Other than that, age is not relevant to this operation. What is relevant is the shape and the quality of the skin of the buttocks. In general, a tighter envelope and minimal laxity is desirable for a good outcome. When there is laxity of skin and ptosis (drropiness) of the buttocks, a formal lift is a better option. Occassionaly, I will also comibe fat on top of the buttock implants, composite buttock augmanetation, to improve the cushion and the coverage. Good luck.
Age by itself will not prevent you from having butt implant surgery.Kenneth Hughes, MDLos Angeles, CA
Hi. Thanks for your question. It is never too late to get the procedures you wish for. You just have to make sure you are in a healthy condition, but if you get proper clearance for surgery, age by itself is no limitation. Good luck
Allow me to share with you some information that you may not hear elsewhere. There are only two proven safe and relatively effective methods for Buttock Augmentation and Hip Augmentation: 1) Autologous Fat Transfer (using your own fat, transferring from one area of the body to the other) and 2)...

500 cc implants placed in a submuscular plane would be a great deal of volume. Placing implants that are even larger in a more superficial position should make the implants even more visible. I would have to examine you to determine what I would recommend.Kenneth Hughes, MDLos...
