The cream burns my face after a Vi Peel, what should I do?

I had my peel 4 days ago, No real problems except that even the cream that comes in the kit burns when I apply it, especially around my mouth and chin where I have rosacea. I started using Aquaphor yesterday and it is the only thing that is soothing. My skin does tend to be a bit sensitive.

You need to continue using the aftercare kit until you run out of it. After you run out of it, you should still pally sunscreen on a daily basis to slow down the aging process of your skin and prevent sun and age spots from forming. Good luck!

Thanks for your question. Great job using aquafor! I give patients additional instructions for sensitive skin that include cleansing with a mild cleanser like cetaphil and applying aquafor as needed. You should only have a few more days of healing. It is recommended that you contact the office where you had your peel so they can monitor your results. Best wishes.
