Well, I’v been looking for best options to make the tip of my nose small (my nose is not bony!) and then I saw a video on Instagram, and I don’t know if it’s real, but the doctor inserted some kind of acid in the nose and then it looked like the nose shrinked!! Is there such a thing? And if there is, would you please tell me what’s the name of it and what should I look for? and how much does it cost usually? And if it’s not, then what would be my best option? Thanks.

Answer: Non surgical rhinoplasty The shaping of the nose with filler can make it appear smaller, despite it having a very small amount of volume added. It's an illusion caused by a better balance achieved on the face. Non-surgical rhinoplasty should be performed by a surgeon who performs surgical rhinoplasty for many reasons. They understand the anatomy intimately, they understand the limitations of the non-surgical treatment and can offer you the full range of treatments, including surgical if that is best in your case. Seek consultation with a board certified rhinoplasty specialist for an in person examination, evaluation and recommendations. I hope this helps and best wishes.

Answer: Non Surgical Nosejob Candidate-- with Fillers (voluma, restylane, juvederm) I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist to go over your desired results. Facial fillers (voluma, restylane, juvederm) can be used to improve the symmetry of the nose. However, it won't make the nose smaller. Surgery would be needed to improve nostrils or overall shape. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
