My hair seems thinner and shorter on my right side. I feel like the left side of my head looks normal but the right side looks like I am balding. I can't tell if its just how the lady cut my hair or not because it has been 2 weeks and It looks as though my right side is growing very very slow if at all.

Answer: Right sided recession It is not unusual that hair loss recession occurs asymmetrically. When it happens, right side if the most common to show early recession. So don't worry about its asymmetry, but if you feel your recession or hair loss needs attention, you need to find a good doctor who can evaluate your future pattern and help you to maintain or restore your hair.

You are close to our office in Burbank and should consider visiting our office where we will take a 'bulk measurement' of your hair and determine if you have early balding. Keep your hair long please as that is necessary to do the test. We hold Open House Events once a month were former patients come to show the results of their transplants (patients have been helping us show off their results for 24 years at such events) and visitors can also view a surgical procedure and an SMP procedure at the same visit.
