Am 32yrs female. Mar 2015 my dr found m having FMHL. He prescribed me hair grow minxdil 5%,kenozole shampoo with streetabs witzinc. improved. After 4months he changed 5%to 2% with same shampoo n senital hair vitamins tablet. Now my hair loss were increased. My scalp is More transparent.also have split ends almost from the root. Am not coloring n heating at all. From the last 6 months am facing this. What can I do? Shall I switch to 5%? I saw very mild uncolr baby hair.but scalp more visible.

It is best you get a combination approach for best results.  If you decrease the rogaine, you likely will lose what you had already maintained.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Topical minoxidil is used to treat thinning hair.  So if you are using the medication and losing hair it is not considered "normal".  Perhaps you should see a doctor for an examination.

If your change in use caused more problems, then maybe you should either go back to what you did before or stop the medication. If a doctor recommended it to you, go back to your doctor. An excellent cosmetic solution for see through hair in women is scalp micropigmentation, a cosmetic solution (see web reference below)
