Answer: Razor cut Yes it's possible to get an infection even from a simple razor cut, so you should quickly treat the area with first aid and if there are any concerns contact your physician. Without an exam, it will not be possible to fully evaluate you and give you recommendations.

Answer: Razor cut after Breast Augmentation Hi and thank you for your question. While it is possible for any cut to become infected and any minor infection can travel to the breast implant pocket, because you promptly treated this cut with first aid care it is unlikely that this will become an issue. An implant infection is accompanied by fever, redness, tenderness, and/or body chills but I would recommend reaching out to your Board Certified Plastic Surgeon to inform him/her of what has happened and adhere to their recommendations. Congratulations on your recent breast augmentation and I wish you the very best!
