2 months ago had lift with implants and not happy the left is bigger than right I think 2 diff sizes were used. Since this needs to be corrected I figure I'll go up. I currently have 445cc (13.5 dia)moderate and I want to know if I go up to 485cc (14.0dia) mod will I need to have the pocket increased or will it fit? Will my aereola need to be recut down again although they still look the same because of the bigger implant and will the down time be quicker because this is a revision?
Answer: Pocket modification An increase in only 40 cc represents less than 10% increase. As such, it is unlikely that significant pocket modifications will be needed, Nor will it look substantially different, only slightly.Best of luck! Answer: Wait s bit but 40cc not much difference I agree that you should wait at least six months till things settle down and you can get an accurate idea of the size you truly are. But in most cases 40 mL is not much of a difference at all. In my experience patients usually have to go at least 80cc or 100cc before they really notice much of a difference !!

Answer: You Need to Heal Before Making Decisions Hello,It is way too early to be assessing your results. You'll need a full 6 months from surgery to get a good idea about shape and size. At that point, determination of revision surgery can be made. Best of luck!

Answer: Inadequate lift with excessive implants Two months ago you underwent a lift with implants. The lift was required because the skin envelope was not strong enough to hold your breasts in the proper position. Unfortunately, you added 445 cc implants, which weigh approximately 1 lbs each. Your breasts are now under more stress than before because of the additional weight. Your breasts are going to drop and change configuration. At this time, you are only two months out. You need to wait six months to see what will happen. It is possible the breasts can equal out without additional surgery. But it is likely that you will need a revision with smaller implants and a stronger lift. There is really no significant difference between 445 cc and 485 cc. Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Revisionary breast surgery concerns… Yes, assuming the breast implants are kept in the same "pocket", revisionary surgery tends to be associated with less discomfort. Your plastic surgeon, knowing exactly what procedure is planned will be your best resource when it comes to more specific information and advice. Having said that, I think that significant adjustment of the breast implant pockets will not be necessary given the breast implant size increase you mentioned.Make sure that you communicate your concerns/goals carefully. Best wishes for an outcome that you will be very pleased with.
