It’s been 2 months and this is what it looks like, my scalp itches in that area sometimes

The appearance of the scalp at the two month mark is not typical. I would suggested seeing a physician for review. A biopsy may be considered.

If only hair was pulled out (without accompanying scalp), most likely the area will recover.  You won't notice much growth at first and it can take several months for the hair to grow back.  If there is absolutely no growth by 6-8 months and/or inadequate growth by a year, a hair transplant can help.

In a single hair pull like you are discussing, I have seen this before and the hair usually returns within 6 months; however, I have reports that at times it does not grow back and in that situation a hair transplant is the solytion, see below a list of such posts to me.
