My (29/female) hair loss has always revolved around excessive shedding. I shed excessively for 4 years, but after PRP treatments, herbal therapy, and beginning Rogaine use, my shedding stopped for 1.5 years and my hair fully grew back. It started shedding again 1 year ago. A doctor recently prescribed me spiro, but I am concerned about taking it because I already have low testosterone (0.6 free T and 22 serum T). The doctor told me that I do have some miniaturized hairs. Could spiro work for me?

Answer: Understanding Hair loss and hair loss treatment options: hair transplant, prp and progesterone
You just might have caused permanent damage to your hair follicles. You could consider visiting a hair transplant surgeon who could help you transplant some grafts over your bald spot.
When you start finasteride, shedding has been reported for up to two months. Unusual to ahve it start on the second month. You may ahve to wait it out in hope that it stops. Go back and see your doctor
These two products generally help completely different hair loss conditions so it’s not clear from your question what formal diagnosis you were given. I would advise you raise these great questions with your physician.
