I have large pores on my cheeks and nose. What is the best laser treatment to reduce pore size? What is the best laser treatment to address rough bumpy texture and dullness? Any sort of makeup just sits on my face making it look dry, patchy, rough and old. I am only 35.
Answer: Laser-Pore size, rough texture, dullness A Fractional Non-Ablative Laser Resurfacing procedure combined with a skincare regimen will address many conditions associated with aging skin. Early intervention and maintenance treatments to maintain healthy skin will outweigh the benefits for later in life.

Answer: A series of LaseMd treatments is the best recommendation for your skin goals Fractional laser is an amazing and highly effective treatment in our office. We use the laser treatment to help with acne scars, large pores, fine wrinkles, tissue collagen loss, scars, sebaceous hyperplasia, active acne, and for brightening dark pigmentation. Although there are very strong fractional lasers such as CO2 laser, we use lighter treatments for corrective skincare and maintenance of results. Our Thulium fractional laser, clear and brilliant laser, and Ultra Thulium laser are excellent options in our clinic. We also perform CO2 fractional and erbium depending on skin tone and tolerance for downtime. Patients do have to use a Melarase cream before and after treatment to help further reduce pigmentation after laser. Dark spots can improve with these treatments. I recommend fractional laser for incisional scars as well, especially after plastic surgery. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Laser Resurfacing and Skin tightening with--Fraxel, Co2, lasers, microneedling/prp, sculptra, ultherapy, rf treatments Fraxel and/or Co2 are best for resurfacing, but erbium is a good alternative. I always combine lasers with microneedling/prp for more robust outcomes. For skin tightening, I recommend a combination of ultherapy with RF treatments and sculptra for skin tightening. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Best Lasers for Dull, Rough Texture and Pores Great question! Hard to give you the very best advice without a photo, or better yet, seeing your skin in person, however, here are a few thoughts. Your best laser is most likely going to be more than one type of laser. Although there are many types of lasers, when it comes to effects on the skin, there are two main types that relate to you. For the pores, your best bet is to have a fractional type laser which goes deeper. For pores, Halo fractional laser has the best data on improvement in pore size. For surface texture, however, you don't want so much to 'aerate' the skin with a deeper fractional laser as you want to smooth out the entire surface ('mowing the lawn') for a polished appearance. This is best done with full field lasers, of which Erbium (Sciton) has been proven to be safer with faster healing than with CO2. Finally, for best results, both treatments can be combined with IPL / BBL +/or microneedling with PRP.
