I have been diagnosed with rosacea which is only visible on my nose. Will I be able to get my nose pierced?

I am currently 18 years old and want to get my nose pierced. A few months ago i was diagnosed with rosacea and have been using metronidazole topical cream, 1%. The rosacea is controlled to only my nose. Some days you can barely tell i have rosacea and other times its worse. However, it has gotten extremely better since i have started treatment. Due to this, will i ever be able to get my nose poerced? If yes, how soon?
