I did one treatment of Bellafill (it was supposed to feel my cheeks so the scars don't look too deep) but I didn't see any result. Maybe I needed at least 3 treatments. My scars are almost like no other people, these are really deep like they ate part of my skin.
Answer: Many options for facial scars exist. I think bellafil or eptfe implants under subcisions and real dermabrasions would be very helpful. Fractora RF would be great also as would direct excisions.

Answer: Bellafill and Fractora for acne scars Hello, thank you for your question and pictures provided. When treating acne scars combination treatments often work best. Bellafill will add volume to the depressed/ atrophy aspect of the scars. Takes up to 3 months to see results and will require multiple syringes to achieve the desired volume. Bellafill has a cumulative effect so patience is key. Submission may also be helpful in your case if your provider feels resistance or difficulty injecting the product in to the scarred tissue. For the more superficial scars and textural changes in the skin, Fractora is an ideal treatment that will stimulate collagen and resurface the tissue. Fractora is also safe for most skin types. Again, multiple treatments is best. Acne scar treatment and correction is a process. Best to focus on improvement not a cure. Hopefully your treatment provider can work out a package deal for you. They are both fantastic treatments. All the best!Dr. Solomon

Answer: Bellafill for acne scars With deep acne scars, most patients need a combination of treatments. Bellafill is the only FDA approved filler for acne scar treatment but most patients require multiple syringes and multiple sessions. In combination with laser/radiofrequency for facial resurfacing, most patients see great improvement. Hope this helps!

Answer: Improving acne scars with lasers, microneedling/prp, TCA cross, punch excision, fillers, Cosmelan A combination approach will give the most improvement. These types of scars need a combination of lasers, microneedling/prp, TCA cross, punch excision, Cosmelan and fillers. Co2 is the best laser for scars, but Erbium is a great alternative. It will take a series of treatments and will need life-long treatments to maintain. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with an acne scarring expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Improving atrophic acne scars - Bellafill I do think that Bellafill is a good solution for you. I would first subcise the area with cannulas and then fill underneath the larger scars. I do think that Infini/Genius is anther good option as is PRP and TCA Cross. It will take multiple treatments to have improvements. Most acne scar patients need 2-3 injections with the Bellafill.
