I had liposuction on my legs with the intention of smoothing my hip dips as this part of my body was disporpoptional to the rest of my body. Immediately following the surgery, I noticed a change to my gluteal fold area - my buttocks appeared to be sagging and I had a banana roll, which I didn’t have previously. I also had irregularities and asymmetry but was advised to wait 6 months before assessing the results . A year later I returned for a revision surgery - the plastic surgeon “released” the tissues where I had developed fibrosis and also performed fat transfer to the upper gluteal area. However, 6 months after the revision, I still have significant lumps and, more importantly, there has been no change to the inferior glute area - the gluteal crease extends across my whole thigh, there is a double crease in the banana fold and my butt is sagging. The plastic surgeon specialises in liposuction but I don’t believe he has the experience to fix what has happened - he has suggested exercise and lasers to tighten the skin but I am not sure this will be enough . After both surgeries, I wore compression garments and did lymphatic massage. I am 40, in generally in good health and have a stable weight. This has devastated my life and affected my confidence - I don’t fit into my clothes anymore and never wear a swimsuit. Do I need further lipo and/or fat grafting? Would implants be an option? Or elastic threads? Wary of butt lift bc of scars.Pic1-3 before/after first lipo, 4 is now
