I had a tummytuck 2 years ago without muscle repair. If I wear tight pants or belt, I can feel stabbing pain at the same point, and sometimes I can feel it when I'm sleeping on my tummy. It's not that bad, it's immediately stops when I unbotton my pants, but should I worry? I have an other symptom, before my period (I don't know how, but it's definitely related), I can feel tickling around my bellybutton, and I just can't scratch it, it's inside my tummy. These are normal symptoms, or dangerous?

Thank you for your question. This is used as a test to gauge the amount of fat you have underneath the abdominal wall which cannot be addressed with a tummy tuck. So if your stomach is flat supine, then you have less of this type of fat which means that you stand to have a good result. But that...
No, the psoas muscles are not involved in the tummy tuck operation (the rectus abdominis and sometimes external oblique muscles are). At this point, your chiropractic work should not be affected by your tummy tuck surgery outcome. Hope this helps.
