Can you brush Invisalign trays with an electric toothbrush?

It is a great idea to use your electric toothbrush on your teeth and your buttons (also called attachments) because it allows you to do a much better job than brushing with a manual.  However, the cost of electric toothbrushes and their replacement heads tend to be more expensive, so I would not use one on the trays themselves.  A manual toothbrush is actually a better scrubbing tool to use when holding the trays in your hand.  I would recommend buying a couple hard (or firm) toothbrushes for under a dollar and using them only on the Invisalign trays that you've removed from your mouth.  An electric toothbrush would be a waste of time and money on the trays.  Good luck to you and I hope this helps. Yes, it is OK to brush with an electric toothbrush. Just make sure you're getting all of the surface area and you brush both your Invisalign and your teeth on a regular basis.
