Is there any procedure that can allow me to close the corners of my mouth when attempting a closed mouth smile? (photos)

When I attempt a closed mouth smile, the outer corners of my mouth stay open. This bothers me especially when looking at photos. I have lip fillers, is there anything else I can do to my mouth to allow it to close fully when smiling?

A less robust, cohesive filler, such as Belotero Balance threaded into the upper and lower corners of each side of the mouth (not into the main body of lips) should help to oppose the angles of the corners of the mouth, so that the lips do not remain open during a closed mouth smile. Thank you for your question! There is no guarantee it can help but a quick easy treatment you could try is botox. Botox can be placed in the upper lip to help flip the upper lip which might make it look like your mouth isn't still open. Typically a small amount of botox is used for the lip flip (4-6 units) and it tends to last around 2-3 months. Hope this helps!

If the corners of your mouth are open, down, thin or you are in general unhappy with them, Hyaluronic acid fillers may be the answer! A quick filler injection may be all you need, and the results last a long time, possibly a year or longer.
