I was recently burned by Alexondrite laser when i should have received Yag laser. However, I have been keeping the scabs moist by applying silver sulfadiazine and aquaphor every 4 hours and a tefla dressing on top. Dermatologist advised me to soak the scabs in hydrogen peroxide so that they fall off and I am just worried if this is the best thing to do. Growing up olive skinned, picking scabs always caused them to scar dark. Please help, I don't want to cause more damage.

Answer: See a Cosmetic Dermatologist for after care--burn after laser hair removal
Great question. I have used the GentleMax for years and consider it to be the best hair removal laser in the business. Hope this helps! Dr. Sawyer
You should have laser hair removal. Most hair removal lasers (I use the Light Sheer Duet- a diode laser) will not only remove hair but they treat ingrown hairs. Expect to be improved within the year.
Thank you for your question! This is not common. It may have been caused by the sweat glands being over stimulated with the treatment. This can be controlled with Botox. I recommend seeing an expert to have this evaluated. Best of Luck!
