Applied Rogaine to face and developed acne, what can I use to clear it up?

Hello all. I applied rogaine to my beard area in attempt to fill in/thicken my facial hair and now I have broken out with acne in my chin/cheek area. I stopped use immediately, but it has not cleared up. What can I apply to help, thx!

I usually recommend a combination of Rogaine or Minoxidil with prp and progesterone injections in order to prevent hair loss. This will help regrow and strengthen active hair. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

5% minoxidil is 5% minoxidil regardless of how it is packaged and marketed. If one is cheaper then go for it! Consultation with a hair loss specialist is always recommended to assure you are doing everything possible to treat your hair loss. Best wishes!

There is no evidence that minoxidil causes any skin aging. If you're concerned about aging after Minoxidil, Sculptra, lasers, microneedling/prp and skin care can be used for aging prevention. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer.
