Does Rogaine (or other minox products) cause rapid aging?

I've read that minoxidil can cause rapid aging via lowering collagen synthesis, and there are some very horrific stories about it destroying people's faces. Some people have had reports of their face being aged at least 5-10 years from it, especially younger people. This could be a result of normal aging, but there are too many reports to ignore. I'm 21 and always looked young for my age (I look about 19). My dad looks young too. Should I avoid minox? I'd rather keep my face than thicken hair.

I have not heard of minoxidil "destroying people's faces" nor causing "rapid aging." I have also not read this in the literature either.

The Truth about Minoxidil

There is no evidence that minoxidil causes any skin aging. If you're concerned about aging after Minoxidil, Sculptra, lasers, microneedling/prp and skin care can be used for aging prevention. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer.

To my knowledge, monixidil does not cause aging as you asked. This is a topical only impacting the scalp where you apply it.
