6 weeks post BBL. I'm scared to sit and still in pain! Is this normal?

I had a bbl done 6 weeks ago. My dr cleared me to sit at 6 weeks with no restrictions but i still feel so sore and pain when i do! I only got 550 cc to begin with and so much of it has gone away im scared to do any more damage. Is it possible i could still lose more volume from sitting or laying on my back at this stage in the game?

Usually by six weeks the fat that has been transferred that has "taken" is probably stable at this point.  Best to review with your surgeon.

Thanks for the question and provided information as well.
You are still early on the healing process, it can take up to six months to see your final results, so please be patient. At the stage you are in, inflammation, discomfort and irregularities are normal.
If you have any concerns, please follow up close with your plastic surgeon.

Thank you for the question. I will typically ask my patients to not sit or lay on the area of fat transfer for at least 8 weeks. Having said that, each surgeon has their own style in the post operative management of the patient. I would therefore recommend you discuss this matter with your chosen surgeon. I hope this helps.
