How much does Emsculpt cost?

Emsculpt is a new product that allows us to contour the muscles of the abdomen and buttocks by employing supramaximal muscle contractions. This is roughly equivalent to 20,000 crunches within thirty minutes. We begin with a series of four treatments within two weeks. Additional treatments are recommended to maintain the results. Currently we offer our four session treatments for $3000. As in any procedure, it is important to make sure that you are a good candidate. Obese patients could develop better abdominal tone, but the results wouldn't be seen. there are certain conditions that contraindicate Emsculpt such as implanted metal in the region. An in-person evaluation is required to make sure you can achieve maximal results. No, it doesn't hurt.

This is a great question as patients want to know the cost of procedures when they are trying to decide whether to proceed with the treatment or not.  Cost is always a difficult question to answer as it depends on several factors and various from practice to practice. 

Emsculpt works best when it is done on a routine basis as it focuses on the development of muscle.  Similar to working out, the more treatments you do the better your results as the muscle continues to strengthen and build.  This is why Emsculpt is typically purchased as a package or as part of a membership.  The idea is for you to be able to do enough treatments to achieve the results you desire.  However, we have to remember Emsculpt is not a replacement for a Brazilian Butt Lift. 

Emsculpt is most commonly bought with an initial package of 4 treatments done over a two-week period for $2500.  Most people also purchase a maintenance package of an additional 4 treatments for $1000 as this will allow patients to maximize their results over the next year. 

The ideas with 8 treatments are that patients are going to be able to improve their strength and appearance over the next year. Similar to working out, the more treatments the more results patients are going to see. 

The second option for Emsculpt that many patients have been excited about is membership programs.  This allows patients to come in once a month for a treatment.  The cost of memberships varies greatly depending on what else is included in the membership.  There is also typically an initiation fee but that can vary greatly again depending on what is included in the membership.

Thank you for your question about Emsculpt.Here in Cincinnati we are charging 4 sessions for $4,000 but offer a better rate if you are a Advanced Rewards Member. For best results, 4 sessions of Emsculpt over a 2 weeks period is recommended. Each sessions is 30 minutes long and I would advise to keep at least 24 hours between visits to cut down on muscle fatigue. 

The cost of emsculpt depends on your location. Generally the four treatment session cost an average of $3000 in the Atlanta Georgia area.  Each emsculpt treatment is about 30 minutes and separated about two to five days apart. We recommend about 2 emsculpt session twice a week for 2 weeks. Make sure to look for a board certified plastic surgeon who can offer other options if for some reason, you need more than emsculpt to look your best

Thanks for the question, the answer will vary depending on the amount of sessions you are looking for and in my practice if you are a surgical patient. We have introductory packages for this new technology as we want people to be able to experience this amazing new technology at a reasonable and approachable price. Furthermore as a liposculpting specialist where I perform 6-10 liposculpting procedures a week we have even made it more affordable for our surgical patients as we have found this dramatically enhances the results. Emsculpt typically requires 4 treatments per area to build muscle and burn fat, for non-surgical booty sculpting and lifting, abdominal toning and tightening for a flatter tummy, tightening and toning of the thighs and quads, and even effective treatment of the arms. Most practitioners offer a package for the four treatments (per area) ranging from $750 to $1250 per area. Two areas, like the booty and the tummy, may be treated the same day, each in its own 30-minute session, and many practitioners offer a special package if multiple areas are be treated. Emsculpt delivers electro-magnetic waves for an intense and effective "20,000 supraphysiologic muscle contractions" over a single 30-minute treatment session.  To put this in perspective, a highly-trained professional athlete might be able to contract 40% of their muscle capacity, however Emsculpt can contract at a rate of 90%, causing an average increase in muscle size and fibers of 16% at 4-weeks post-procedure, and 23% at 3-months post-procedure, and a simultaneous loss of fat of an average of 19% after 4-weeks.  A recent study proves the muscles continues to INCREASE in size and the fat loss continues over the following months, with continued improvements up to 6-months, and possibly longer, since the studies are ongoing. These are truly incredible results. Emsculpt from BTL is the latest non-surgical body contouring device being offered by body contouring physicians which utilizes High-Intensity Focused Electromagnetic technology to induce supramaximal muscle contractions to build muscle and burn fat.  A complete treatment involves a series of four sessions, two weekly for two consecutive weeks.  The cost of the four sessions will run between $3500-$4500.  Our office will be offering Emsculpt from BTL for $4000 for the four sessions.  Patients that may benefit from additional 'debulking', will also receive two weekly sessions of Vanquish from BTL for further fat reduction for an additonal $500 for a total of $4500.  My practice is one of the only practices in Orange County that will be offering both treatments.
