Cellulaze pricing varies by practice. In our office, the procedure fee is $5,000 per area, and we typically limit treatment to two areas during one session. A significant part of the cost reflects the time and detailed work involved in performing the procedure. At your consultation, we would explain how we define each treatment area and provide a written quote showing the total cost and any additional fees before you schedule.

Practices set their own Emsculpt pricing and payment policies. Some charge per session, while others offer packages at a lower cost per treatment. In our office, we use Emsculpt Neo and offer a package of six sessions. The package is paid in full upfront to receive the package savings and costs less than purchasing the same number of sessions individually. If your treatment plan calls for four initial sessions, the remaining two can be reserved for later maintenance visits. The appropriate number and timing of treatments would be discussed during your consultation. When comparing prices, ask which device the practice uses, how many sessions are included, when payment is due, and how any unused sessions can be used.

I noticed that your question was originally posted in 2008, so the $13,500 quote should be considered in that historical context rather than compared directly with today’s prices. In our office, our current liposuction procedure fee is $5,000 per area, plus the anesthesia and facility fees associated with the planned procedure. Those additional fees depend on the time required. Multiple-area discounts may also apply. When comparing estimates, ask how the practice defines each treatment area and whether the quoted amount includes anesthesia and facility fees. A written, itemized quote will help you understand the total cost before scheduling.

ANSWER
There is no standard discount for treating multiple liposuction areas. Each practice sets its own prices, and savings may come from discounted procedure fees, shared facility costs, or both. In our office, each area is priced separately. We offer a multiple-procedure discount of 10% on the second area, 20% on the third, and 30% on the fourth. These discounts apply to the individual additional areas, rather than to the entire bill. We also charge one room fee for a combined procedure, whether we are treating one area or four. If those areas were treated in four separate surgeries, each surgery would have its own room fee. Combining them therefore reduces that expense and means one recovery period, when the surgeon determines that treating the areas together is appropriate. The office you visited may have been referring to savings on shared fees rather than a discount on each area. Since your quote did not appear to match the explanation, ask for an itemized comparison showing the total for separate procedures versus the combined procedure and where the savings occur. Discounts for permission to use before-and-after photographs are also an individual practice policy; there is no standard amount you should expect.

ANSWER
Yes, a separate technology fee can be part of a practice’s Smart Lipo pricing. The procedure requires a laser fiber, which is an expensive consumable used during treatment. Each office decides how to account for that cost. Some bundle it into the procedure price, while others list it separately. In our office, we list a technology fee separately on the written quote provided at your consultation to make that expense transparent. Neither approach is inherently right or wrong. What matters is that all charges are clearly explained and you know the total cost before scheduling your procedure. If you were quoted a per-area price, ask whether the laser fiber or technology fee is included or charged separately.
