I am looking into liposuction on the inner/outer thigh, inner knees and possibly even calves and ankles. I get super lean on top and can not get rid of my lower body fat. By the time I am even starting to like my legs, I look completely skeletal on top and ridiculously vascular and with no boobs. So it’s like I have to choose between liking my upper or lower body. Not sure what the best purse of action for me would be?Advice would be great!
Answer: Liposuction Candidate -- VASER HI DEF Liposculpture, ThermiRF, Fat Grafting, Renuvion, Inmode BodyTite, See an Expert "You need a formal evaluation by an expert in body shaping and contouring to determine what is best. The best in body contouring not only removes fat with energy devices like VASER ultrasound but also internally heats the skin with radiofrequency devices such as Renuvion (J-Plasma), InMode BodyTite, and ThermiRF to heat the undersurface of the skin and tighten it at the same time as fat removal. These combinations are called 4D HI-DEF VASER Liposuction and can only be done by a well-trained body contouring specialist. At the same time, fat should be harvested and purified, with PRP and stem cells added, and then injected into muscles, indentations and cellulite to get body shaping and contouring. For a Brazilian butt lift (BBL), we inject the fat into the buttock for contouring and lifting, but fat can also be used in areas such as the chest/breast, arms/shoulders, calves and face. Cellulite should also be treated with a combination of Cellfina, subcision, and/or fillers such as Bellafill, Renuva synthetic fat, or Sculptra. If skin is very loose before surgery, then it will need to be removed: tummy tuck/abdominoplasty for lower abdominal skin; breast lift for excess breast skin; and/or a brachioplasty for loose arm skin. Overall, you need a full assessment, but simple liposuction alone will not tighten skin and needs a combination of various methods -- fat removal, skin tightening, defining, fat grafting, skin removal -- to get the best in body contouring and body sculpting. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer."

Answer: Which lipo is best? Hi and welcome to our forum! From your photos, you appear to be in excellent shape. The subtle areas of minimal fullness are visualized. Liposuction involves removal of fat through small pipes (cannulas) placed under extreme vacuum after pretreatment with an infusion of solution containing a blood vessel constrictor (to prevent bleeding) and an anesthetic (if performed awake). Augmented liposuction utilizes laser energy or ultrasonic energy to semiliquify the fat, making it easier to remove and adds a subtle skin tightening effect. In general, the experience of the surgeon is more important than the type of instrument utilized. I recommend you visit a plastic surgeon with considerable liposuction experience and allow him / her to use the instrument with which he / she feels most comfortable. Best wishes...

Answer: I am not sure that you will get any further improvement from any technique you have an absolutely incredible well toned, muscular body. i am not sure that you will get any real improvement. you do run the risk of looking too reduced in fat, if you opt for surgery. this will give you an unnatural appearance in real life. i have seen this in some people who come to me for consults. the surgeon was too aggressive and it does not look good or natural in real life (it photographs better than it looks in real life). you are a 9.9 or a 9.8 - sometimes it is best not to push too hard to be that perfect 10!!!! (since you may slide downwards and it is always harder to treat problems than to prevent them.)david berman md
