Do buttock implants provide dramatic improvement when wearing clothing?

Dear Australian,    The size of the implants determined the butt projection in clothing or without, so , in your consultation , you should communicate to your surgeon how dramatically you would like your butt to project. That will help your surgeon to deliver your desire by choosing the right size implants.   I have been performing butt implants surgery for over 18 years (over 29 years in practice) and it is my impression that males, unlike females, desire moderate increase in butt size without rounding of the hips. Oval round ultra soft silicone implants placed in the sub fascial plane (on top of the muscle) are best suitable to produce  attractive, athletic and natural looking butt. The intra gluteal placement (inside the muscle) , which is not a natural plane and require longer recovery, produces bubble butt appearance that is unnatural and unattractive, especially for male.   You have to realize that not all results are the same because there are different implants and different  techniques. Also, experience, skills and aesthetic eye are critical for good outcome. So, do you due diligence carefully and choose your surgeon wisely, to avoid bad result and need for corrective surgery, which will double the cost and recovery time.   Always, consult with experienced board certified plastic surgeons who operate in accredited surgery center for your safety. Most importantly, check the before and after pictures in the photo gallery, to make sure that they are numerous, consistent and attractive.   If you can't find an experienced plastic surgeon who does lots of butt implants surgery locally, it will be wise on your part to travel to an expert surgeon, even abroad, so your outcome is successful. Plan on staying 1-2 weeks near your surgeon's surgery center for optimal care.  Indeed if done correctly, with the right size and shape buttock implant, dramatic improvements can be achieved even when wearing clothing.  Because very few plastic surgeons perform buttock implants on a regular basis and/or have significant experience, many patients are best off traveling, sometimes long distances, to a reputable specialist to assure a good outcome.   Like most other surgeries, once it is done incorrectly the first time, achieving good results thereafter can be very difficult, even in the best of hands. Make sure your chosen surgeon is a board certified plastic surgeon, performs at least one if not two buttock implant procedures per week, has a good local and online reputation, has many pleasing before and after photos to show you, and last but not least, surgically places the implant within the gluteus maximus muscle NOT on top of it and not "subfascial".
