You’ll need an anchor pattern to eliminate vertical skin excess, something that a true lollipop pattern cannot provide. Surgeons who push this type of pattern end up the creating a ‘J’ or ‘L’ shaped pattern, overusing the periareolar incision leading to pleating and flattening of the mound, or ending up with dropout/star gazing nipples.

breast reduction is best suited for women who wish to decrease the size of their breasts. While there are different techniques used to perform this surgery, I prefer the vertical incision (lollipop pattern) breast reduction technique instead of the anchor scar pattern, which reduces more noticeable scarring than usual. I also use a SAFE liposuction technique to reduce additional fat around the stubborn axilla area and bra line. I would perform an anchor type lift. However there are surgeons who could do a lollipop type lift. You should go on several consults to learn about the different toes of lifts.
