B cup - what size can I increase to with breast fat transfer?

The amount of fat "take" or survival will vary depending on the patient's health, age, and anatomy. In general, the consensus seems to be that the maximal increase under normal conditions is one cup size, but often less.

Fat transfer to the breasts can be an effective form of breast augmentation for up to one cup size increase. 200 cc per breast is typically the upper limit of fat injection recommended by most plastic surgeons. It is not that more cannot be injected; but on average, this has been determined to be the most that can be expected to live during one transfer. Multiple transfers would be required for additional cc's. In general, the abdomen and thighs are preferred donor sites but fat from other areas can be used.

It should be noted that lipotransfer does not replace augmentation mammoplasty with prostheses, since each technique has its own indication and requirements. This technique is used to provide symmetry and improve the body contour and therefore does not increase more than one size. The amount of fat the stays after transfer to the breasts is very hard to control and is unpredictable. I think you're better off with implants

fat transfer breast augmentation is a viable alternative for women who desire larger breasts without the use of implants. Fat transfer is also widely used in reconstruction of the breast after a mastectomy or lumpectomy. A reasonable estimate of breast enhancement using fat (vs implants) is 1/2 cup size increase. The maximum increase may be one cup size. If you are thinking of a 275cc implant or larger, then consider breast implants, not fat transfer.

You did not show photos, so I cannot be specific. However, with fat, you can achieve up to one cup increase in size. If you want more, consider breast implants. Fat is less predictable.

Breast fed transfer can increase breast cup size by one half to maximum one cup per procedure.

The results are typically subtle especially compared to implants.

Patients who want a more dramatic result should consider having implants or consider having multiple rounds of fat transfer done six months apart.

The appropriate amount of fat that can be grafted is based on the size of the breast and quality of breast tissue.
