I am 5ft, 105 lbs, and currently a 32A. I had another consult for BA and measured my width as 10.5, and suggested a high profile 275cc implant for both sides. But when I tried on the sample, it looked SO big and almost made me look fatter. I know it will be slightly smaller in real life as implant will be placed under the muscle. Even so, it seemed so big! I’ll also be getting lipo in abs, flanks, arms and thighs + BBL. Will this help with the fat look?

Answer: #breastaugmentation to get your desired look Hi asumo,It is very common when trying on sizers to feel that the implant is "so big" because sitting outside of the body unsupported, the sizer falls forward. If you imagine the compression that comes from a sports bra, having the implant placed will shrink the sizer to that extent. The volume that you end up selecting in the end should give you the desired cup size-a 275 may make you into a C cup if you have little breast tissue now or if you are starting with a C cup, will make you about a D possibly DD. You are a great candidate for liposculpture and yes, it will provide shaping and curves to accentuate your overall look. During your office visit, be sure to try on smaller sizes, try different bras and tshirt necklines as they all change the look of your bust. My best, Dr. Doolabh

Answer: Breast Augmentation: is 275cc too large for a petite woman with 10.5 breast? Hello and thank you for the question and sharing your photos, You seem to be a great candidate for breast augmentation and a 275 cc implant should give you a nice result. An in-person consultation is needed to give you a more specific advice. I would suggest that you discuss this with your plastic surgeon. Many factors including patient's desired breast size, skin envelope (both quality and quantity) and breast width diameter among others are important in selecting the implant size. Choosing the right implant should be a shared decision between you and your plastic surgeon. In a typical consultation, you try a variety of in-bra sizers and in combination with several other measurements that your surgeon will do, the final implant volume is selected. Use of 'goal pictures' is also an effective way to communicate your goals with your plastic surgeon. My best advice is that you communicate your goals and aesthetic ideals with your surgeon as clearly as possible and trust your surgeon's skills and abilities to deliver what you are looking for. Best wishes and good luck, Pejman Aflaki, M.D. Johns Hopkins-trained double board-certified plastic surgeon
