Patients who consider facelift surgery always want jowl, and neck improvement.  I am surprised that your surgeon did not address the jowl area.  The best solution, in my opinion, is a facelift revision after a year post op, for correction of saggy jowls.  Consider a second opinion with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon.  Take a copy of your operative report with you to your appointment, so the new surgeon can see exactly what was done.  Best to you!
