Full beard and moustache transplantation in men with little native facial hair should be undertaken with caution due to the risk of an unnatural appearance especially if the hair is shaved short.Creating a natural beard and moustache requires the skills of an experienced hair transplant surgeon.Patients unhappy with their natural facial hair status will be prone to dissatisfaction with a hair transplant procedure to such a prominent facial feature. The use of single hair follicular unit grafts and irregular borders will contribute to a natural appearance but even in the most skilled hands pitting and cobblestoning can still occasionally occur. Beard area may restored with a new HT. During the placement of follicular units there will be a mixture of single, double and a few triple grafts, which help to create the soft look of a natural hairline.
