Motiva vs Sebbin - Do any of you have an opinion when comparing Motiva and Sebbin?

Hi there, Im doubting 1 aspect: Which implant Final choice between: - The traditional round silicone implants (So far Mentor & McGhan) - This newer one, MOTIVA that, as I understand it, offers the advantages of both the round and the tear shaped implants. Within that category, my doctor suggested SEBBIN instead of Motiva. So I read up on Motiva and I like what i see. But I cant say I have the same info for Sebbin. Do any of you have an opinion when comparing Motiva and Sebbin in this context?

Every surgeon has his or her own preference when it comes to implant brands. Personally, I typically use Mentor implants because they have the softest feel and best warranty. I do carry all other brands if patients prefer Allergan or Sientra.
  
Your surgeon can discuss the pros and cons of each brand during your consultation to help guide you in choosing the best brand for you.

The only breast implants that have FDA approval in the US are Allergan (formerly McGhan and then Inamed), Mentor (owned by Johnson & Johnson) and Sientra licensed to market Brazilian made implants. I would ask your PS why he/she recommends Sebbin for you as I have no experience with them.

As has been said by other responders, the Sebbin implant is under clinical trials in Europe (according to the web) but not in the US. There are many good options available to you in the US. I would ask your plastic surgeon about this prior to having surgery. Make sure you only see board-certified plastic surgeons.Dr. Edwards

There are many many breast implants on the market, with 3 primary companies: Allergan, Mentor and Sientra.  Your plastic surgeon will help guide you as to the best implant for you individually.  If you are struggling between models it is best to ask the plastic surgeon why she or he has chosen the implant for you.  Specifically: Is the implant a cohesive gel (gummy bear), does the implant fill the upper pole of the breast and provide the "cleavage" you are looking for?  Does the implant give the appropriate projection do fill the pocket? Is the base width of the implant the appropriate size for your chest?  
With thousands of implants (type, size, shape, projection, company, cohesive) available, the plastic surgeon can guide you.
