I'm considering using Thermalift for under my eyes. Is it safe or risky?

My goal is to lessen wrinkles, bags and dark circles under my eyes. The eyes are my main concern but thought I'd would use it on my entire face. I am 48. I've just read some horrible reviews here on Real Self regarding thermage used on the face. My appointment is already booked and paid for. In your opinion is it safe or risky?

Yes, this is one of many treatments we use to non-surgically lift the face. Thermage has its limitations, and hence why we sometimes elect to use Ultherapy. In other cases we combine RF, or HIFU with dermal fillers to address skin volume. Non surgical lifting of the skin can be achieved via collagen stimulation - improvement of skin tone, and volume displacement. Having realistic expectations and correct patient selection is essential for a good outcome. In Brisbane, due to the high UV damage, only 1 in 3 patients are suitable for Thermage or Ultherapy.
