I had a session of Picosure Focus for acne scarring approximately one week ago. Some of my facial hair has turned white and is no longer growing. Is this a common side effect from this laser, and is it permanent? If it's temporary, how long will it be before the hair returns to normal?

Thank you for your question. There is no evidence to suggest PicoSure is dangerous while pregnant. However, I recommend waiting till the pregnancy is over before another treatment. Please make sure you seek treatment from a board-certified dermatologist.

Thanks for your question. We've been using the PicoSure FOCUS for almost 3 years doing skin rejuvenation. It works really well on pigment correction all over the body. As a side benefit, it does do some resurfacing and tightening. It probably wouldn't be our "go-to" device to tighten skin...
