I play moderately, competing as well. I am 27 with some pretty wicked frown lines and considered getting small amounts of botox. Would this affect my playing? Wearing out faster is not a concern but i do need to be able to seal the space around my mouthpiece. Any advice appreciated.

In most cases, properly placed Botox for frown lines does not affect embouchure or your ability to play, since the muscles controlling your lips and mouthpiece aren’t directly treated.
