Five years ago, mymaxillofacial surgeon injected my right masseter muscle by needle of an anesthetic for temporary relief from bruxism pain. He hit an artery and gave me a very painful muscle hematoma which resulted in a cheek depression. I've been diagnosed with"tethering to the dermis". I've been to two plastic surgeons, two maxillofacial surgeons and a physical therapist to help break down scar tissue. It has not helped. Drs. are afraid needle insertion will worsen it.

Your question is a little vague.
Are you asking if you can have a facelift because you want a facelift? or, are you asking because you think a facelift can correct the problem?
Having had a previous hematoma that left tissue necrosis and scar tissue should not prevent you from having a facelift or facial fat transfer but it may not fix your problem.
Unfortunately your hematoma was not drained during window in which time it could’ve been.
Treatments for the contour deficiency may be challenging because of scar tissue and necrotic tissue. 
I don’t think massage was ever going to make a difference.
Early intervention could’ve possibly prevented this but at this point you’ll need to work with plastic surgeons and see what they come up with.
You haven’t mentioned if you’ve tried any treatment options at this point like using fillers. fillers may be helpful but will most likely still leave some unnatural appearance.
Your situation is complex and for that reason you require in person consultations to get a proper assessment and quality recommendations
