Rib pain post breast explant.

Question

The rib pain came towards the last few months of my short time with implants. Now I am almost 5 months post removal and not much has changed comfort wise. If anyone can recommend healing remedies, what to take to heal internally or any physical therapy to do. This is no way to live for the rest of my life as a 27 year old. I am patient but afraid this might be a permanent thing that I cannot live through. Both doctors are not understanding so any advice would be appreciated.

Without more information it's difficult to determine the nature of your rib pain or if it is related to the implants.  If your surgeons are unable to assist you may want to discuss the situation with your primary care physician as other tests may be needed to find the underlying cause.  Once that is identified, proper treatment can be recommended.

Did you have a complete capsulectomy?  Extensive scarring that requires aggressive removal of the capsule can create swelling that takes a long period of time to resolve.  Working with a therapist would be helpful.
