I would go to your local drug store and buy some steri-strips. Take a shower, soap and water can go everywhere, pat dry when you get out, and then re-apply the steri-strips. Let your PS know on Monday.
If the incision appears clean and dry I would reapply the steri strips and leave the area alone. Scar scream is typically applied around 6 weeks post op. Contact your surgeon and explain your concerns. All the Best.
Dear Lynn300, Steri strips are typically ready to come off around 3 weeks post op. I would check with your operating surgeon to see how they want you to treat the area. Scar cream is usually not used until about 6 weeks after surgery, so I would check with your surgeon about that as well. Good luck!
Most wounds are sealed at 48 hours by your body's healing. If you wound looks clean, unscabbed and with no blood coming from it, then it is ok to get it wet. Otherwise, I would recommend you apply some more steristrips or micropore tape to protect the wound. Scar management products such as oils and creams can irritate a young wound, and I would avoid this for a further week
At two weeks your steri-strips can become loose. Often by two weeks things should be fine, but you should be able to call your surgeon. His service should be able to get in touch for you.
Thanks for writing,Each physician has different ways to manage incisions, some use steri-strips, other do not. Some keep the strip on till they fall off other don't. All that to say, if the strip have fallen off, I probably wouldn't worry. Check with your Plastic Surgeon in the morning, he/she will tell you how they would like you to take care of the wound. You should do well. Good luckStephen M.Davis, MD, FACSGreen Hills Plastic Surgery
Both are fairly large sized implants, and I find that 50cc at that level is almost not noticeable. When a patient of mine is debating between 2 sizes, both of which 'fit' her dimensionally, I usually recommend the larger of the two because its way more common to hear "I wish I went a...

As previously mentioned, breast atrophy refers to loss of breast tissue, which commonly results after breast feeding or losing weight. Breast ptosis refers to actual breast droopiness. Based on your photos, I don't think you'll need an actual breast lift, implants alone should do the...
