Is it possible massaging bump on nose bridge will help it get smaller?

I'm 7 months post op revision rhinoplasty . I've had this bump on my nose bridge since cast removal. It's only visible in certain lighting and I feel it. I started to gently massaging the bump in a circular motion. It felt like it was flattening. Once I stopped it felt like before. Is it possible massage help bump go down?

Usually not.  If the bump is from scar tissue, you may need steroids.  If the bump is from swelling it will go away on its own.  If the bump is from the bone, you may need a small revision

If the bump is swelling, then massaging it might help. If it is bone or cartilage, you will likely need surgery to soften it.

Hi,i am not convinced massaging will get rid of the bump!As the physical trauma of massaging causes slight inflammation / swelling perhaps it gives the illusion of the bump to soften!If it is due to scaring limited steroid injection otherwise re-filling/ rasping may be the answer !best wishesj Tahery ChesterUK
