I had quite a bit of swelling Monday through Wednesday after lip injections. 1ml was injected into my (small) lips on top of .5 injected at the beginning of April. My lips still feel a bit tight, and most of the swelling is gone but I still feel a bit tingly/swollen. They appear to be healing fine, but when I smile or even stretch my mouth open a bit, my lips feel tight and blanch up. Is this just from continued swelling?

Answer: Swelling & Lumps after Lip Augmentation with Fillers (Juvederm, Restylane, Volbella)
Thank you for the photos - don't worry... Your lips are likely still very swollen and may appear uneven as swelling goes down. We always tell our patients to wait a full 2 weeks for lips to fully settle and heal. If after 2 weeks they still have this uneven shape, call your injector and ask them...
Thank you for your question. Immediately post filler injection it is common to experience some swelling which will settle within a couple of days. Make sure to wash the areas well with light agents to keep it clean, there's no way to tell if a pimple could or not cause infection to the site....
