Getting a 3MM submalar Cheek Implant removed, how long does the scar capsule take to go away?

Im 20 years old, good skin laxity, and im unhappy with my cheek implants as they my face look round and puffy. Im gonna get them removed. I had them in for 6 months. People have said that even when you remove it there is still a scar capsule that makes it look like the implant is still there. How long will that take to go away and i look somewhat like I did preop?

Infraorbital rim implant should not change the lower eyelid position but technique is critical. It is important to have detailed discussion with your surgeon.

There are risks with any procedure. However, I find that through the mouth is the best way to place cheek implants. They are done quickly, the risks are overall lower, I believe, and the results are excellent. In fact, we do them right in the office over just about 20 minutes.

Based on these photos, you do not seem to have significant asymmetry; your asymmetry is within normal range. Correction of this type of asymmetry is best achieved with fillers (to start with and see how volume replacement would work and where to be placed), fat grafts and implants. In person...
