I know it is still very soon but I am still worried. I underwent rhinoplasty about 11 days ago. I showed my surgeon a picture of exactly what I wanted and I specified I did not want a pointy tip and I didn't want my nose up in the air I wanted it straight, well when my bandages came off it was exactly that. It's not straight and it looks almost fake will it has dropped but not as much as I'd like will it look more natural?
Answer: You appear to have a pleasing nasal profile eleven days after rhinoplasty surgery. A single up-close photo rarely shows the whole story, but your nasal profile appears to show a nice nasal bridge. The tip of your nose may drop a bit over the next month or two, depending on your condition. If you're unhappy with your nose in another month, discuss your concerns with your surgeon and consider getting a second opinion. Hope this helps. Dr Joseph

Answer: It will likely come down to some degree In most cases, if a tip was turned upward, it usually settles downward a bit over the next few months. Whether or not this happens and to what extent depends on how the surgery was done. Definitely discuss this with your surgeon. If the tip is still more upturned than you like after one year, you can consider revision to lengthen (see video below). But for now I would be patient.

Answer: Poor work, likely case for revision Being true your postop lapse is short, it is clear you may need revision. Reasons for your poor current look are as follows: -trimming / resection of caudal septum: this IMHO "taboo" maneuver should never or extremely rarely be done, since takes away any support of the nose and tip, shortens the nose and ends normally as a piggy nose, as in your case -your tip suffers massive over resection of cartilage-there seems to exist a too aggressive plication of tip domes, leading to sharpness -your nasal valve is pinched leading to aesthetic and functional issues The only difficult part of your revision is the septal lengthening required to lower the nasolabial angle and restore nasal length; it is uncertain so far if you may need other high-end maneuvers in your revision like batten grafts for the nasal valve or at the columella. Surgical difficulty 6-7 out of 10 scale of revision rhinoplasties; surgical time 3-4 hours. I strongly recommend you find a real expert in revision, save the money and travel wherever required, but don't waste your last chance of repair, which exists. Please do post or send privately a full set of good quality, well lit and focused standard photos: frontal, both lateral views and both oblique views, also from underneath the nostrils. Feel free to request any additional information from me.

Answer: Rhinoplasty It is too early to tell. It may drop a bit. It would have been helpful to see your original profile as well.

Answer: Upturned nose 11 days after rhinoplasty will most probably go down It is very likely that your nose will come down in time. This may take weeks. It is not unusual for the nose to look upturned if the tip and/or columella were addressed during surgery. The swelling and the maneuvers performed on this area can make the nose look upturned but this will settle with time. Your surgeon is the best person to be able to tell you how much
