Hi LUSONG,I would advise you to wait a minimum of 2-3 weeks prior to wearing goggles. They can put pressure on the surgical site and could contribute to shifting of the results. I would talk to your surgeon about your specific case.Good luck!
Within 48 hours it likely seals. Generally we do not advise swimming for 3 weeks. The advice that is right for you can only come from your surgeon, the person who operated on you and knows your situation. Please do not accept post surgical advise from anyone else.
When I have patients who have had a trans conjunctival blepharoplasty I try to not have them go diving for at least one month. But the real important thing is that you follow what your doctor feels comfortable with. He or she has your best interest in mind and you should follow what they feel is the most important instructions. While it is good to get other doctors opinion I would strongly suggest that you talk to your doctor and get his or her suggestion.
First of all postoperative restrictions should come only from your own plastic surgeon. In my own practice I would want all inflammation associated with the surgery to be substantially resolved. This will probably take about six weeks.
I would ask your surgeon at the time of your post op appointment. But generally you should wait 2-3 weeks after your surgery to go swimming.
have to heal on their own. They may be sealed after a couple of days but the tensile strength is not good for several weeks. Goggles such as those you describe will put pressure on the incision and could result in delayed healing and more scarring. Ask your surgeon for advice and follow it.
Dear fellow swimmer; After a certain age it is best to avoid the socket goggles unless you are in a competitive situation. The suction stretches the skin/tissues in an area that as we age becomes less forgiving(leave it at that). Better option is using frame goggles. After transconj surgery and clearance from your surgeon you can probably be swimming in a mask type google about the two week mark (10-14 days). You can probably swim with a frame type goggle at 4-6 weeks. Socket goggles should be avoided. If socket goggles are needed for a competition, wait 2 months. Talk to your surgeon about the different type goggles so they can guide you.Enjoy the results----- it is a fantastic operative procedure!!!
That should be answered by your surgeon. The person is in the best position to advise you about your recovery.
Dear Lusong, I would speak with your surgeon and bring various types of googles to the office for a follow up appointment so that they can be fitted properly and determine which pair is suitable after surgery. Your surgeon will advise you when you are permitted to swim and wear goggles. Best regards, Michael V. Elam, M.D,

Can't tell much from this picture. But if you do surgery to make them look straighter, you will get double vision. So definitely not worth doing anything.
What you are seeing is the lower border of the orbicularis muscle. You can not get rid of that. Best of luck.
