I'm 39 years old and weigh 130 pounds. I recently had a lower body lift 6 months ago. My surgeon told me the only way I would see good results for my legs was to have a thigh lift, I don't disagree with her. As of now I'm trying to avoid another big surgery and the long scars a thigh lift would give me in my inner thighs. I'm trying to find other alternatives that would give me a decent improvement.
Answer: Best options for thighs Hello! Congratulations on all your hard work, you look amazing. Bodytite and Morpheus are options for adipose tissue remodeling and skin tightening, but they do have their limitations that patients should be aware of, in particular, they are not surgery. If you are looking to debulk your thighs a little bit and reduce the laxity of the skin, you could try having Bodytite followed by 3 Morpheus treatments. However, if you are looking for tight smooth skin, the thigh lift is the best option. Morpheus and Bodytite can melt fat, but to as much as liposuction can remove. These treatments also stimulate collagen to tighten skin, but most likely cannot get the skin nearly as tight as a lift can. I recommend thinking about your goals and talking to your provider to decide which path is the right one for you. Good luck!

Answer: Bodytite Thank you for your question and photos! Bodytite would be a great option for you if you want to avoid surgery and long scars. Bodytite is utilizes radio frequency to tighten the skin. A double sided probe is inserted underneath the skin to heat up the tissue and fat, which allows for the skin to contract and tighten. After we remove any unwanted fat we go over the treatment area with Morpheus, which is a Microneedling treatment for extra tightening. It is best to schedule an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss all of your options.

Answer: Instead thigh lift consider Morpheus and bodytite Last year I had a patient with a similar story to you. She already had a large abdominal scar and didn’t want the thigh scar. I was skeptical when I saw her thighs because of the thin skin and stretch marks. But she really wanted to try alternatives. I did the bodytite on her and Morpheus series for extra measure, and the results are quite nice. The thighs still has some laxity and stretch marks, but it beats having surgical scars and all the complications risks which go with it. She is extremely happy and is now starting the treatment for arms. It did take between 6-9 months to really see the effect, but it was worth the wait for her. Fresh stretch marks have much improvement whereas the old ones less. If time is not an object, it may be worthwhile doing it with a provider who knows how to make the best of both devices. I hope that helps

Answer: I agree with you and your surgeon but there are other options. Mbyrd Thank you for sharing your photos. I agree with you and your surgeon that a thigh lift will give the tightest skin. However, there are some reasonable compromises such Liposuction with skin tightening may give you a good result and will have a quicker recovery. BodyTight and or Renuvion skin tightening can give substantial skin tightening and when combined with liposuction can give you the result you want with a quicker recovery and without the long scar. There are trade offs with any procedure. Morpheus may help a small amount, but will not make much of a difference for you. Wishing you the best of health, Dr Wright

Answer: Age 39, 130lbs, would BodyTite or Morpheus 8 help improve my thighs? Anything other than removing the extra loose skin with surgery will be a disappointment and waste of money. Go with your surgeon's recommendations.
