I am considering Bodytite on my arms. I'm 5'2", 130 lbs and have always carried extra fat there. My main concern is not being able to lift my toddler (18 lbs). I think the most I can reasonably expect my partner to take care of her solo is like 2 days. How soon after the procedure can i expect to be able to lift her? I have heard different answers so am unsure.

Answer: How long after BodyTite in the arms can I lift my toddler? Bruising and swelling can occur after BodyTite and will usually resolve in a few weeks. Typically, you can return to sedentary activities within two to three days; full activity with exercise, within two to three weeks.

Answer: Minimal restriction with bodytite of arms Hi. After bodytite of arms, I’ll have my patients wear compression garment for 4-8 weeks. So that may not be comfortable. But there are no restrictions in terms of activities. You may be slightly sore the first day or two. But you can still pick up your toddler. I tell my patients to be as active as they can to allow proper drainage into the lymphatics. Sitting around is not good for speedy recovery. But if I were you, I’d milk the help!! Have your partner help out as much as possible!! Not because you have surgery, but just because he’s the father..lol. Just know, you will be fine and will be able to do pretty much Everything with some soreness which can be managed with pain meds if needed. Good luck.
