RejuvaPen does not typically have a long downtime. This depends on the depth on the needles and what skin concern you are treating. You should be sure the skin has fully recovered from the RejuvaPen treatment. Redness and dryness should resolve after about 3-5 days.I would recommend waiting 3 weeks before IPL/BBL treatment. This is a great combination of treatments to rejuvenate the skin. Addressing both texture, scars, fine lines, pigment and redness in the skin. I see great results with these treatment combos. Thanks for the great question!
As a conservative response I would wait at least 2 to 3 weeks at a minimum. But are you using two different doctors for each of these non invasive therapies?
A Rejuvapen treatment is not typically so invasive that you have a lot of down time. As long as your skin is healed and no longer peeling, about 1 week after your skin will withstand an IPL tx. When scheduling your laser appointment be sure to let the medical office know that you did have the Rejuvapen treatment because they may have specific protocols they follow before using the laser.Thank you for your question!Melinda Lacerna, MD FACS
