Crooked mouth. What caused this, and what can be done? (Photo)

As the photo shows, I have a very crooked/slanted mouth, which by the way is not really evident much at all when looking in the mirror. But I guess mirrors lie!! I wish I could yank my eyeball out of my head to see what I really look like. But I would really like to find out what caused this, and what can be done. There are two possible culprits: 1) a missing left front tooth from hockey at age 12; 2) HSV - 1 infection below lower right lip, resulting in facial nerve VII compromise and muscle weak
